ADD/ADHD Beast or Blessing?

"Whether you have been diagnosed with ADD/ADHD or not, if your life is complicated by inattention, impulsivity, or hyperactivity, the 'Big Three' of ADD/ADHD threatens to crush your potential for happiness and success." - Lois McElravy

Researchers report that 80% of those in prison have been diagnosed with some variation of ADD/ADHD. But, so have 80% of successful entrepreneurs! That's the power of self-providing the excitement and stimulation ADDers crave by transforming those impulsive risk-taking tendencies into creative courage and confidence.

Whether you have been diagnosed with ADD/ADHD or not, if your life is complicated by inattention, impulsivity, or hyperactivity, the "Big Three" of ADD/ADHD threatens your potential for happiness and success. Without behavioral adaptation, ADDers create a life of confusion and chaos. They suffer from isolation, low self-esteem and are at high risk for developing depression.

Stop the confusion, frustration, and disappointment. Improve your life or help someone you love improve their life (and yours) when you gain an understanding and learn how to develop systems and strategies to manage these limiting behaviors. And then you can tap into the ADD/ADHD Advantage.

Living with ADD/ADHD: Lois shares personal stories illustrating the day to day challenges of living with "Acquired ADHD" - a secondary condition, resulting from a brain injury eighteen years ago. Impaired executive function from Lois' brain injury caused difficulties with focus and attention, planning and organizing, initiation, short term memory, impulsiveness, hyperactivity, and social inappropriateness.

PROGRAM OUTCOMES AND BENEFITS -

Adults Living with ADD/ADHD: Lois shares insights to help participants gain a better understanding of ADD/ADHD behaviors, so they can identify their behavior patterns and recognize their triggers. She teaches adults how to develop individualized systems and strategies to gain better control of the chaos in their life and manage ADD/ADHD behaviors, so they can improve self-esteem, develop self-confidence, maintain healthy relationships, take advantage of their talents, achieve success and feel happy.

Early Childhood or Primary and Secondary Education: When a teacher or parent disciplines or corrects ADD/ADHD behaviors, the child learns there are consequences for their actions. When the teacher or parent helps the child to explore the source of their ADD/ADHD behavior, insights are gained. With a deeper understanding, adults can help children look for patterns, recognize triggers, and develop systems and strategies to control impulsivity, prevent outbursts, and manage emotions, so they can fit in, make friends, discover their talents, achieve success and feel happy.

Participants cling to every word provided by Lois' unique perspective, gaining valuable insight and a better understanding of ADD/ADHD. They leave feeling hopeful, because they are equipped with knowledge and strategies that they can immediately apply to:

  • eliminate their confusion
  • pay attention so they hear, remember and follow instructions
